This month sees more racing series conclude their 2022 season’s, of which some are detailed below.
MotoGP is set to complete its 2022 season at its regular season finale venue of the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia on 6 November.
Francesco Bagnaia enters the final round of the season with a 23 point advantage over second placed Fabio Quartararo. They are the only two riders who are able to win the 2022 riders’ championship.
There is also a battle for third to be settled with the position currently occupied by Aleix Espargaro who is only one point ahead of fourth placed Enea Bastianini. There is also an outside chance that Jack Miller could claim third with the Australian 23 points behind Espargaro going into the last Grand Prix of the season.
The 2022 NASCAR Cup Series concludes on 6 November with the season finale at Phoenix.
The four drivers going for the 2022 Cup Series title this season are Joey Logano, Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain and Chase Elliott.
World Rally Championship (WRC)
The WRC season is set to conclude with Rally Japan which takes place from 10 November until 13 November.
In the championship for drivers Kalle Rovanpera sealed his first title. Second is Ott Tanak who has a 21 point gap to third placed Thierry Neuville.
In the championship for manufacturers, Toyota sealed the title in the penultimate round of the season ahead of Hyundai. Third in the standings is M-Sport Ford.
World Endurance Championship (WEC)
The WEC concludes its 2022 season with the 8 Hours of Bahrain which is set to take place on 12 November.
In the HyperCar class the #8 Toyota and #36 Alpine enter the finale level on points while third is occupied by the #7 Toyota who are 26 points behind the joint leaders.
In LMP2 the #38 Jota is 28 points clear of the #23 United Autosports in second. Third is occupied by the #41 RealTeam by WRT who are six points behind second.Embed from Getty Images
In GTE Pro the #51 AF Corse heads the standings and is 11 points clear of the #92 Porsche with third occupied by the #91 Porsche.
Lastly in GTE Am the standings are headed by the #33 TF Sport who are 20 points ahead of the #98 Northwest AMR in second with third taken by the #77 Dempsey-Proton Racing.
The 2022 Formula 1 season concludes this month with the Sao Paulo Grand Prix in Brazil on 13 November followed by the season finale in Abu Dhabi on 20 November, where Formula 1 will be supported by Formula 2.
Max Verstappen has already sealed the drivers’ championship. Second in the standings heading into the month is Sergio Perez who is five points ahead of Charles Leclerc in third.
Red Bull have also already won the constructors’ championship with second currently occupied by Ferrari and third by Mercedes.
The Extreme E series concludes its second season by heading to Uruguay for the Energy X-Prix which takes place between 26-27 November.
In the Team’s Championship Rosberg X Racing will start the event with a 17 point gap to second placed X44 Vida Carbon Racing who themselves have a six point advantage over third placed Acciona | Sainz XE Team. McLaren head into the finale of their first season in the series fifth in the standings, 21 points behind Chip Ganassi Racing in fourth and one ahead of Andretti United in sixth.
