A switch to focusing on a team for this post, specifically Aprilia Gresini. Although Gresini have been in the premier class continuously since 2002, Aprilia returned with a factory effort in 2015, deciding to team up with Gresini.
The partnership had an underwhelming season last year with the team scoring only 39 points which meant they finished eleventh in the teams’ standings.
They have openly stated that the aim for 2016 is to claim more top ten finishes, the team only managed three top ten place finishes in 2015.
This is why Aprilia are worth watching in 2016 as they have now completed a full season of racing and will want to improve and join the front of the MotoGP grid. But will they?
