Malaysia GP Review

Formula One returned after a one week break, and managed to put on a show that laid to rest some fears that Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton would walk away with the championship.

Vettel secured victory for Scuderia Ferrari in only his second race, ahead of Hamilton and Rosberg in the two Mercedes.

Kimi Raikkonen had an eventful qualifying and race which despite the chaos saw him finish fourth ahead of the two Williams’ where Bottas overtook Massa late in the race.

The two Toro Rosso’s finished behind the Williams’, Max Verstappen securing his first points of the season, whilst his team mate, Carlos Sainz finished behind him. The two final point positions were filled by the Red Bull senior team, Kvyat finishing ahead of Ricciardo.

Grosjean (Lotus), Nasr (Sauber) Perez and Hulkenberg (Both Force India, and Merhi (Manor Marrusia) were the final finishers.

The race was certainly more exciting than Australia, it also helped give a clearer picture of where all the teams are at the early stage of season.

Next up is the Chinese Grand Prix.
